The orchid by the kitchen window was showing off her beauty.
I had not yet recovered from the under-weather symptoms. Hef and I had a
rendezvous with Bin in New York City on June 9-12. I hopped on the bus which
ran 1.5 hrs. late. With a $2 ticket price, who would complain? Plus, it arrived
in a perfect time to hitch up with Bin without having to tolerate brutal heat
wave in NYC. We met Hef at Sheraton by the Izod Center, NJ where the graduation
took place. Bin has formally become Bin, MD with highest honors. Way to go Big
Dude!
The following morning, Hef and I drove up to Hamden, CT to see Mom Noyce. With Heft’s unparalleled sense of direction, we ventured into quite an excursion. Yes, a smart little machine called GPS led us through--eventually. Mom Noyce has been going through her precious belongings in preparation for her upcoming move to PA. Thank you for the valuable collection of stamps, Mom! We had delicious lunch at our favorite Turkish Kababs restaurant in West Haven. On the way back, we faced yet another adventure. Because of time crunch, we shopped into wee hours for necessities for Bin in strange and expensive territories.
