2012 Memorial Weekend, Key West, Florida

On memorial weekend + 2 days off, I went down to Key West to hitch up with my other half who had been working there for a month. The first time we went to Key West was almost a decade ago. With my little camera this time, I snapshot practically everything that captured my attention. A bus ride along the keys, the architecture, the heat, fauna, and flora reminded me of my root. We stayed in a picture perfect house with an awesome swimming pool. Art works and literary pieces, remnants of--Hemingway surrounded us. I couldn't ask for more.

2012 May 18-20, NYC

   Bin had a weekend off. Ready for a little break, I hopped on the bus to see him, Sara in his little upper East Side Studio, Manhattan. A nice dinner, a night out at Time Square, a picnic at the Central Park, a stroll along the East River featured. The hi-light of the trip must have been The Lion King on Broadway. It made up for Jon's JD low-key commencement in Concord, NH somewhat.

2012 Mother's Day and Thai Vie Trio at the Kennedy Center

What a treat on Mother's Day, May 13, 2012! First, a bouquet of beautiful multi-colored roses from 'a secret admirer' with a note 'Be nice to your sons'. The same evening, Jerapa and I went to the Kennedy Center for the first time. The youthful, talented, handsome Vie Trio's performance truly charmed the audience. We are proud of the siblings--Pei, Parn, Pui Srinarong and their inspiring and musical father and supportive mother. We look forward to hearing more of their accomplishments.

2012 Small Reunions late April and July

What a joy to meet old friends and former students! The little folks are absolutely adorable.
