Last week of January . . .
OK another snow storm. We were released two hours early. I
stayed on. On the way to my place, sleet and traffic made driving dangerous. It
took me 2 hours to drive 6 miles and I got stuck three times. Others who lived
farther took up to 9 hours instead of usual 1 hour. Some abandoned their cars
on the road.
The following morning, I decided to take leave. Hef was
delayed flying in by a day because the snow. Amid this snow, the Lao section
put up a beautiful display at the library. The teacher-artist created few
awesome pieces himself.
