Winter has lost its might having flexing muscles for two consecutive years. Flurries have sprinkled the ground and quickly evaporated. On lazy hazy days, I found nothing to do better than experimenting old time favorite desert. A weekend before Valentine's Day, I flew to join my flock in Carmel, CA. How precious it was to be able to be together albeit short duration. Wet but fresh weather welcomed us. The planes at Chicago needed to be de-iced and sprayed with lime-green anti-freezing which caused slight delay. Amidst the gloomy cold weather, the royal purple orchids at the office and the kitchen exuded their beauty once again
