Last week of March, 2011, Bin came up from Atlanta after
completing his rotation. He spent few days in DC doing chores for the old lady
and showing places where he had spent time for a semester in 2004 before
heading to Europe to enjoy a big break.
This time of the year, nothing would be more enticing than
viewing the precarious white and pale pink cherry blossom. It's a reminiscent
time of recent tragedy in Japan and the eternal gift from her gentle people.
The day after we went, it snowed. It must have quite a picturesque
display--snow on the blossom!
A week later (early April) Hef arrived from his sea voyage,
just in time to catch a glimpse of the blossom around the Capital and our
little humble cottage. Of course, honeydew list was handed to him.
